Aerolaser System has been awarded the National SME of the Year Award 2024, a prestigious recognition that honors small and medium-sized companies that stand out for their performance, innovation, internationalization and commitment to employment. The award was presented by His Majesty King Felipe VI at an institutional ceremony held in Madrid, in the presence of representatives of the Spanish Government, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, Banco Santander and Grupo Prisa.
This recognition comes at a key moment for the company, which continues to consolidate its leadership in the technology and geospatial sector, firmly committed to innovation and talent.
Recognition of effort, perseverance and excellence
During the ceremony, Aerolaser System’s CEO, José María Luque Sillero, thanked the award on behalf of the entire team and highlighted the deep meaning it has for the company:
“It is an immense honor for Aerolaser System to have received the National SME of the Year Award 2024. This recognition fills us with pride and drives us to continue moving forward with more determination than ever.”
He also thanked His Majesty the King for his presence, as well as the entities organizing the award for their support to the Spanish business network:

In his speech, Luque highlighted the role of small and medium-sized enterprises in the country’s development:

He also wanted to share the award with the other finalists and the entire Aerolaser team:
“We share with the finalists a passion for entrepreneurship, for innovation and for overcoming the challenges we face every day. None of this would have been possible without an exceptional team. This award is theirs.”
Innovation with a Canarian seal
In his speech, the CEO took the opportunity to announce the imminent inauguration of the new Aerolaser Tech Center in Gran Canaria, a project that marks a new milestone in the company’s history:
“More than a technology center, it will be a meeting point for talent, creativity and advancement in the geospatial sector and digitalization. The Canary Islands has it all: good people, talent, good climate and quality of life.”
