Elewit, the technological subsidiary of Red Eléctrica, held the second edition of the Innovation Sessions yesterday, May 19, which have brought together both entrepreneurs from the innovation ecosystem in Spain and agents from the energy and telecommunications sectors. In them, Aerolaser was present.

During the meeting, the president of Red Eléctrica Beatriz Corredor and the CEO Roberto García detailed some of the innovation initiatives. In addition, different innovation projects that Elewit, together with Group companies and technology partners, are developing to promote the energy transition and universal and inclusive connectivity were presented.

Of the aforementioned projects, the DALIA project was highlighted to facilitate inspections of overhead power lines more efficiently. Our CEO José María Luque and the head of power line maintenance Elena Nogueroles were present at the event, recounting the experiences of the DALIA project. That, through the use of drones, provides a higher level of automation and avoids work at height, thus increasing the safety of work.
