Sensor system for LiDAR and photogrammetric data acquisition in aircraft

At Aerolaser System we have been optimizing and perfecting our AeSystem for more than 15 years, an advanced system of high-performance LiDAR and photogrammetric sensors designed to perform aerial missions with great precision and success. The system is ready to tackle large-scale projects, guaranteeing exceptional performance in every mission.

High resolution

AeSystem is a high performance LiDAR and photogrammetric equipment.

Lightweight and compact

It weighs 30 kg and has small dimensions despite the number of sensors it houses

Low consumption

The entire system has a power consumption between 200 and 560 W, depending on the configuration

Easy installation

Easy installation on different aircraft, such as helicopters and light aircraft

Centralized control

With the AeMission software, data acquisition is controlled in a comprehensive and unique way

AeSystem for Mapping

We integrate our systems with the VQ product line of RIEGL lasers, optimized to capture LiDAR data in aircraft with high performance and excellent results in mapping projects.

The system is made up of this LiDAR sensor, which will be in charge of capturing the information to generate the point cloud; and photographic, thermal and video cameras in 4K resolution, which vary depending on the customer’s needs.

This system allows the configuration of up to four cameras, which can be RGB or NIR, oriented both vertically and obliquely. All combinations of the system make it possible to carry out projects of great scope and complexity.

AeSystem for Inspection

Including in our sensor system the LiDAR scanners of the VUX line of RIEGL, make it an optimal solution for the capture of geospatial data in inspection projects.

Thanks to the versatility of the product, we can adapt our system to different technical requirements or projects, being able to add several cameras, such as a georeferenced oblique camera that gives an added value to aerial products, since it allows us to see details that are difficult to see in zenithal cameras.

This combination of laser and camera makes this system a very useful equipment for the inspection of power lines, infrastructures and linear works, with the possibility of adding a thermal camera that helps to locate hot spots in installations and possible fire sources.
